Intocht van Sinterklaas — is one of the most cherished Dutch traditions, marking the official arrival of Sinterklaas (Saint Nicholas) from Spain to the Netherlands. 🎁🎅
Children and families line the streets to welcome Sinterklaas and his helpers, enjoying music, sweets, and festive parades.
This event kicks off the Sinterklaas season, which leads up to December 5th (Pakjesavond), the night when gifts are exchanged.

- Official Arrival: November 15, 2025 — Oudeschild, Texel
- Amsterdam Parade: November 16, 2025 — where Sinterklaas will be officially welcomed by the city’s mayor.
