At OurDomain, events are one of the main drivers of our diverse but like-minded communities of students, young professionals and more. There is always something to do, explore and experience. It’s also a great opportunity to connect with your neighbours, make new friends or discover new hobbies and express yourself!
Unique activities for everyone
At OurDomain, our residents come from all over the world; from Chile to China to Egypt and beyond. Everyone brings their unique personality and background to a buzzing environment with plenty of opportunities to connect with each other. That’s why we host special events to bring our diverse resident body together, like:
- Wine tastings and international dinners
- Board game and movie nights
- Yoga sessions and fitness bootcamps
- Workshops and talent evenings
…and so much more! For example, popular events like Paint and Sip allow us to get creative, socialise with neighbours and create beautiful artwork to decorate our studios and apartments. Breakfast and international food events also create exciting (and delicious) opportunities for everyone to share unique dishes from their home countries and talk about each others' cultures. Other activities related to careers and studies also help us learn valuable tools – like LinkedIn workshops, learning how to give a pitch, and more – to add to our growing skillset!
Connecting each other to form lasting friendships
What makes these activities so special? It’s not only about having fun with one another. As students and young working professionals, we want opportunities to network with like-minded people, gain new skills and open up spaces to express ourselves to the fullest. It is these moments that open up an atmosphere of comfort that makes you feel truly at home. Most importantly, these events are creating friendships that can last a lifetime!
