To be eligible for an apartment at OurDomain Amsterdam Bullewijk you need to meet the criteria below.
Age
You are at least 18 years old on the date you sign the lease agreement.
Income Requirement: Mid-Rent Apartments
For apartments with a base rent between €932.94 and €1,228.07 per month (2026 price level).
Your gross monthly income must be at least:
• 3x the monthly base rent if you apply alone
• 4x the monthly base rent if you apply together with a second person
Your gross annual household income may not be higher than:
• €85,005 for a one-person household
• €93,531 for a household of two or more persons
These limits do not apply if you vacate a social rental home of a housing association in the Amsterdam region.
The municipality of Amsterdam requires a housing permit (huisvestingsvergnning) for mid-rent apartments. See FAQs for more information.
Income Requirement: Free-Market Apartments
For apartments with a base rent above €1,228.07 per month (2026 price level).
Your gross monthly income must be at least:
• 3x the monthly base rent if you apply alone
• 4x the monthly base rent if you apply together with a second person
• For a base rent above €2,500 the multipliers are 2.75x and 3.75x respectively.
There is no maximum income and you do not need a housing permit for free-market apartments,
