Your net monthly salary/income must be at least twice the base rent amount.
Employment contract
You must have an employment contract for a minimum of 12 months with an employer registered in the Netherlands. Employment contracts outside of the Netherlands are not accepted. For entrepreneurs, the company must be registered in the Netherlands.
What documents do I need to provide?
For employees:
• Copy of a valid ID (please obscure your BSN number and the number series at the bottom of your ID)
• Copy of payslips for the last 2 months
• Employer’s statement + employment contract
• Copy of a bank statement or screenshot of the account overview with the current address where your salary is paid
• Extract from the municipality where you are currently registered (no older than 3 months)
• BKR extract (no older than 3 months)
For entrepreneurs:
• Copy of ID (please obscure your BSN number and the number series at the bottom of your ID)
• Financial statements from the last year (Profit and Loss statement)
• Tax return from the previous year
• Chamber of Commerce registration / KvK registration (minimum 1 year registered)
• Copy of a bank statement with the current address where the income is deposited
• Extract from the municipality where the tenant is currently registered (no older than 3 months)
• BKR extract (no older than 3 months)
