• BKR extract (not older than 3 months)
• Copy of your passport or a valid ID (please redact your BSN number, social security number)

 

For entrepreneurs:
• Chamber of Commerce registration / KvK registration (minimum 1 year registered)
• Financial statements from the last year (Profit and Loss statement)
• Tax return from the previous year
• Copy of a bank statement with the current address where the income is deposited
• Copy of your passport or a valid ID (please redact your BSN number, social security number)

Income requirement
Your net monthly salary/income must be at least twice the base rent amount.

Employment contract
You must have an employment contract for a minimum of 12 months with an employer registered in the Netherlands. Employment contracts outside of the Netherlands are not accepted. For entrepreneurs, the company must be registered in the Netherlands.

*Please note that contracts with 0-hour or contracts through a temporary employment agency (Fase A or Fase B) are not accepted for rental applications at OurDomain. We require stable and consistent employment with a clear and verifiable income to meet our rental criteria.

**Please note employment contracts that are still within the probation period are unfortunately not accepted. You must have completed your probation. Employment contracts that start in the future are also not accepted.

Apartment reservation and application process

Apartments are leased on a first-come, first-served basis. Your apartment is only reserved after the application fee of €100 has been paid. Once you reserve a unit, you must complete the application form and upload the required documents within 72 hours.

Please note, reserving an apartment and paying the application fee does not automatically guarantee your application is accepted. After completing the application form and uploading all necessary documents, your application will be reviewed. Greystar reserves the right to reject any application.

The €100 application fee is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of your application. However, if your lease agreement is signed, the €100 fee will be credited towards your first month's rent.

Once your application is processed, a contract will be provided. After signing the contract and paying the deposit, OurDomain will countersign the agreement. Your rental contract is only final once it has been countersigned by OurDomain. Please ensure you sign the contract and pay the deposit within 72 hours.

Important: Please do not use your mobile phone to pay the application fee or deposit. We recommend using a desktop computer or the computer available in our leasing office for payment.

Use of bots for housing applications

At OurDomain, the use of bots or automated tools to complete or submit housing applications is strictly prohibited. This practice undermines the fairness of the application process.

Consequences of using bots:

If it is found that a bot has been used, Greystar reserves the right to terminate the application immediately, with no refund of any fees paid.

Registration requirement for all future tenants

As part of the requirements for your tenancy, all future tenants are obligated to register with the local municipality within 4 weeks of moving into their new home. After registering with the municipality, you must provide proof of your registration to us within 6 weeks of your move-in date.

The application fee + deposit

The application fee is €100. OurDomain reserves the right to reject any application. Once the €100 fee is paid, the apartment will be taken offline and put on hold for you to complete the registration process.

Please note that the €100 application fee is non-refundable. However, it will be deducted from your first month's rent if your lease agreement is signed.

‍

Deposit

For an extended stay, the deposit is equivalent to 2 times the base rent. This deposit ensures the protection of the property during your stay and is refundable upon check-out, provided there is no damage to the property.
